Important milestone reached for the HepatoSIGHT project

We have now started recalling the first people who have been successfully identified as being at risk for having liver disease. Early response has been overwhelmingly positive, and the clinical team has been able to confirm diagnosis and begin treatment for these people, which can significantly reduce their risk of progressing to severe disease.

“The response we have had so far from patients has been very positive, reassuring us that this approach is better for the clinicians, the healthcare system and most importantly, the patients.” Tim Jobson, Medical Director & Chief Investigator for the Somerset Liver Improvement Project.
