Grants totalling £800k have been awarded by Innovate UK to a group of applicants aiming to develop and test a system to identify undiagnosed, high-risk
[Somerset UK, 12 June 2023] Chronic liver disease continues to increase in prevalence in the UK and around the world, yet cases remain severely underdiagnosed.
Predictive Health Intelligence is a medical technology company who have developed a case-finding tool to identify hidden cases of liver disease. This helps to identify patients early, whilst treatment options are available, improving clinical outcomes and reducing the burden of late-stage liver disease on healthcare systems.
Predictive Health Intelligence is the result of a pioneering partnership between expert clinicians, specialists in healthcare information management, and NHS know-how in Somerset. It is funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research.
